...but she has incarnated to partner with the earth in order to bring healing to herself and others currently in human form. Elodie is an expression of her life’s mission.
Our apothecary is rooted in and inspired by the natural ecosystems of Georgia and North Carolina. We use locally grown and wild-harvested ingredients whenever possible. If our landscape and climate support it, we will harvest it from the wild, grow it, or source it from another local grower/trusted friend (herbicide & pesticide-free of course).
Tinctures
Tinctures extract the physical constituents of the plant for a potent holistic medicine that deeply benefits many areas of the body/mind instead of merely addressing specific symptoms of illness. All plants are homegrown or ethically wild-harvested from the local landscape + thanked and honored with offerings in exchange for their medicine.
Flower Essences
Flower essences are an energetic medicine capturing the life force or vibrational frequency of a plant. An essence starts with the ethereal body first, working its way inward to then impact the emotional and physical bodies, finally resulting in transformational life shifts and radical pattern shattering. Flower devas consulted and honored!
Alcohol/Glycerin
We use vegetable glycerin in place of alcohol as often as we can—not only because Gina, our elven guardian, is allergic to alcohol, but also to accommodate others with sensitivities or personal choices to avoid it. This means the majority of our medicine is safe for kids! *We make exceptions for certain plants that require alcohol to release their magic.
Hydrosols
Hydrosols, or herbal/flower waters, are made from steam or hydro-distillations of plants—a gentle and sustainable form of capturing the fragrance and healing properties of that plant. We make all of our hydrosols that we use in our metamorphosing mists in a stainless steel still.
Essential Oils
Essential oils can be produced the same way as hydrosols, but in much smaller volume and more highly concentrated as they are separated from and undiluted by water. We limit the essential oils we use due to the amount of plant material required to produce them. We either produce our oils from our own still or source from Nature’s Gift.
Oils, Butters, & Beeswax
We create all of our own oil infusions from homegrown or locally foraged plants, and source the oils we use as close to home as possible. Same goes for the butters we use in our salves. We currently source our beeswax and honey from Honey Next Door in Atlanta, Ga. with dreams of one day cohabitating with our own bees :)
